Samsung series 8 Plasma 50"?
Alright, I'm thinking about buying the PN50B860. Anyone have any other recommendations if they have one and don't like it?
I would look to Panasonic Viera for a plasma purchase first. The S1 series would suit you really well at 50". You could go for the flagship G10 series if you want the extra contrast. But its a step up in price. The S1 is cheaper and has exceptional picture quality.
With Pioneer stepping out of the TV manufacturing game, Panasonic is the world leader in Plasma development. I would definitely consider them first and foremost for a Plasma purchase. But if there is any reason Panasonic isn't what you want (hey its your money), then Samsung would be the next place I went for sure. LG makes some fine sets too though actually. I'd likely lean Samsung over LG, but I don't think you'd go too far off with an LG.
